The Research Department of the Power Battery Application Branch of the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association released statistical data for September 2019 on October 12.

       Data show that in September 2019, the output of new energy vehicles in China was about 76,400, a year-on-year decrease of 31.24 %, and an increase of 5.97 % over the previous month; The installed power battery capacity was about 3.95 GWh, a decrease of 30.82 % year-on-year, and an increase of 14.81 % over the previous month. After the power battery installed capacity fell in the same ring for two consecutive months, the ring ratio rebounded.

       In terms of models, the power battery installed ratio of each model has recovered, of which the passenger car ring ratio has risen nearly twice. In September, the installed power battery capacity of new energy passenger vehicles was about 3.03 GWh, an increase of 4.58 % over the ring, accounting for 76.53 %; The installed power battery capacity of new energy passenger cars is about 0.74 GWh, an increase of 94.28 % over the ring, accounting for 18.72 % of the ratio; The installed power battery capacity of new energy special vehicles is about 0.19 GWh, an increase of 10.68 % over the ring, accounting for 4.75 %.

       In terms of battery technical route, the installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate rose more than that of the ring. In September, the installed capacity of three yuan was about 2.91 GWh, an increase of 7.47 % over the ring, accounting for 73.52 %; The installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate is about 1.01 GWh, an increase of 38.55 % in the ring ratio, accounting for 25.61 %. Together, the two accounted for 99.13 % of the power battery installed in new energy vehicles in September.

       In terms of enterprises, the top five companies in the power battery installed capacity of new energy vehicles in September were Ningde era, BYD, China Airlines Lithium, Guoxuan Gaoke, and Xinwangda. The total installed capacity accounted for 82.78 % of the total installed capacity.
